Change of Command

Hi Guys

For those for those of you who were not there at Kelmarsh here is a very Important Notice that I think you all need to know. Rob  Cripps has been bearing the burden of being in command of both the Fairfax Battalia and Overton's and with the demands of both he has decided to relinquish command of Overton's to the 2nd Co.....Steve Southcoat.

Steve is now commanding officer of Overton's and I know that I speak for all of us when we wish him the best of luck and that he has our full support for the coming years.

Congratulations to Steve and I think it would be a great idea if we could all celebrate this at Cliveden when we hope to see most of you.

HI All,

Llancaiach is not just LH types, they need (very much so) soldiers as well. They would like soldiers to wear Winnies coats, but that's no great hardship.  It would be great if we could get as many people there as possible. The sunday is no cross-dressing, but the saturday is x-dressing, I think.

Winnies are a really social bunch, and have supported our events stalwartly over the years, something we have often failed to do in return. So the more people who can get to llancaich the better. The campsite is secure, and while it's not the best
place to go pubbing in kit, the winnies campfire is a superb substitute.

It's actually bright sunshine here at the moment, and was yesterday too; not a cloud in the sky. (I live a couple of miles from llancaich).

PLease drum up as much support as possible.
